Cacao & Coconut Bliss Balls

A moorish little mouthful, perfect for little hands in a lunchbox or a mama at any stage in her journey. Rich in antioxidants, fibre and healthy fats, these would also be a wonderful addition as a postpartum snack as they contain wholegrain oats which are a known galactagogue that may support milk supply. Made with just 6 whole-food ingredients, these bliss balls are sure to please!

 

Cacao & coconut bliss balls

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup wholegrain oats

  • 1 cup desiccated coconut

  • 4 Medjool dates (pitted)

  • 4 tbsp raw cacao powder

  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil

  • 1 tbsp collagen powder (optional)

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

METHOD

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender and blitz until combined.

  2. Roll into balls, refrigerate or freeze until firm.
